Project cneo was born in March 2017, at MedHack-a medical themed hackathon. The problem we’re aiming to fix through cneo was not presented to us as a competition challenge, but a real-life one, as we watched our teammate, Razvan, go through ACL surgery and recovery. And then we found more. More patients facing the same challenges, more studies showing that recovery-the key to ACL surgery, is far from optimal and personalised, for most patients.
Our proof of concept was greeted with enthusiasm-on behalf of orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapy clinics and entrepreneurs alike.
